Sunday Daily 2/3

Written for The City Watch

The Botanica was our assignment for The Sunday Daily this week. TCW members Biebi, Viktel, Silverywolfe, and Lythand were joined by Dreadnaught member and Tankadin Medallaplus bright and early to make this run.

Medallaplus proved to be a very experienced player and led TCW through Bot with no wipes and no deaths.

Lythand had a great run recieving the Prismatic Mittens of Mending and the Runed Dagger of Solace.

Viktel just about fell out of his chair when he saw his first piece of Beast Lord Gear (he's been trying for some since Halloween). When Warp Splinter dropped the Beast Lord Cuirass he was heard to exclaim; "Holy Crap!".

Look for next weeks Sunday Daily to be posted on the Calendar!

The Sunday Daily is Back!

Written for The City Watch
We are back, baby! My schedule at work has finally returned to normal and I can start running instances again. So here it is:
There has been a call from Lower City for volunteers to discreetly handle a few "items" that the resident guards have been unable to resolve due to "internal disruptions". Pointedly the call is for The City Watch to provide One Healer, One Tank, and Three DPS officers for a trip into an instance. The specifics won't be revealed until the group reports in. Sign ups are first come, first served by the role you wish to fill for the group. If we have extra people sign up we can start up a second list.

Don't forget to mention which roll you wish to play (Tank, Healer, MQoSRDPS).

Please be aware that the times are early this week so as not to conflict with any Super Bowl activities.

Target start time is 10 a.m. Sunday morning (server time). We will meet in Lower City to receive our orders (get the daily quest) and roll out from there.
There will be a "three wipe" rule in effect. The plan is to give it our best, and if we wipe three times re-evaluate the situation. In the event that the daily requires a key that we don't have, or the instance proves to high a level, the group is free to select another dungeon to run. This is primarily for fun and practice so if you want to try something new feel to sign up.

Allies of the Netherwing

Written for The City Watch

A report has arrived at TCW Headquarters that something has disturbed the Netherdrakes in Southeast Shadowmoon Valley.

Mordenai, a Night Elf in the area reports that, "They won't even come down to feed. I have seen several fall to the earth, dead from exhaustion before their bodies hit the ground."
A patrol is to be dispatched this coming Sunday at 11 a.m. from Wildhammer Stronghold.

This week's Sunday Daily will be concentrating on finishing the initial quest line that will open up the Netherwing daily quests. These daily and repeatable quests will build reputation with the Netherwing faction and pay you 11 gold each time you complete one.

Do your quests every day and at the end of two weeks, yes that's correct one fortnight, you will have the gold to purchase your Epic Flyer AND the necessary reputation with the Netherwing Faction to have earned the right to ride a Netherdrake!

The only drawback is that there are six of these to choose from at the vendor
/hand + forehead

Here is the Wowwiki page that covers the Netherwing Faction:
http://www.wowwiki.com/Netherwing

If you look in the upper left corner you will see a tiny little link entitled "Required quest chain". That is the quest chain we will be doing.

Wowhead has a good list with hints and tips on the quests here:
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10804

Facts about this questline:
1. Most of these are solo'able quests which are sharable, feel free to work ahead of the class if you wish.
2. The quest giver for much of the chain is flying above Shadowmoon Valley at approx 60, 63 so you will need a flying mount if you want to work ahead of the class.
3. We will need at least one tank type character, and one healer for step eight in the quest chain "Zuluhead the Whacked". This quest is a boss type fight.
4. Everyone is welcome to come.
5. Mordenai is more than he appears.
5. You do not need 5000g to get started on your Netherdrake
6. Vik likes to enjoy a nice cup of Kona Blend while doing his daily quests in the morning (two scoops of sugar, and just the right amount of half & half please).

The Sunday Daily

Written for The City Watch

The turn out for today's Sunday Daily was fantastic. The dungeon for the day was the Arcatraz. We had 8 total sign ups on the website, and several were interested in going once we all got signed in an started to send invites.

In all we fielded two groups. Krigsmager leading one, myself the other. There was one small caveat, you need a key to enter Arc and between the two groups we had one.

Krigs was kind enough to let my group into Arc where we made a solid attempt to move froward, however without a key we decided to move over to The Mechnar instead. Inside we steadily made our way through the lower level and took down Mechano-Lord Capacitus and opened Cache of the Legion .

Moving up to the second level we cleared the room of Mechbots and Bloodelves, unfortunately the second Boss, Nethermancer Sepethrea, was just a little too much for us. We gave it a good three attempts before having to call the instance for time constraints.

I can't wait to try it again with a new strategy I just came across.

I know Krigs' group cleared Arcatraz, anyone from that group care to give us a run down of how things went?

Thank you everyone that came! Keep an eye out for next week's edition of the Sunday Daily when we will be recruiting people that would like to complete the quest chain that will open up the daily quests that will lead to us getting our Epic Netherdrake Mounts.

Anyone want to ride a Dragon?
